 Here is a list of virtual disk images available for VirtualBox:


Windows 95
Notes: If you get a protection error, make sure your RAM is set between 100-200 MB, and then reset the virtual machine by going to Machine > Reset.

Windows 95 (32 bit)
Notes: Just a 32-bit version of Windows 95. There are also other options, like 256 colors and 16 bit.

Windows NT 4.0
Notes: You may have to install sound drivers yourself.

Windows 98
Notes: None.

MS-DOS 6.22 with Windows 3.1
Notes: In order for the mouse to work properly, you may have to type win /s instead of win.

Windows 98 (32 bit)
Notes: Just a 32-bit version of Windows 98. There are also other options, like 256 colors and 16 bit.

Windows Vista Home Premium
Notes: I have removed this disk image for copyright reasons. However, you can download Windows 7 straight from Microsoft here.

Windows ME
Notes: None.

Windows ME (32 bit)
Notes: Just a 32-bit version of Windows ME. There are also other options, like 256 colors and 16 bit.

Windows NT 3.51
Notes: None.

MS-DOS 6.22 with Windows 3.11
Notes: This disk image contains Windows For Workgroups (known as Windows 3.11.)

MS-DOS 6.22 with Windows 3.0
Notes: To start Windows, just type "win" after the system is booted up.

Windows Nashville Build 999
Notes: If you want sound to work, set the sound configuration to "SoundBlaster 16" under the "Audio" tab. Also, if you get a protection error, make sure your RAM is between 100-200 MB, and then reset the virtual machine by going to Machine > Reset.

Windows NT 4.0 (with SB16 drivers)
Notes: Just Windows NT 4.0, with SoundBlaster 16 drivers installed.

MS-DOS 6.22 with Windows 2.0
Notes: To start Windows, type C:\WINDOWS\win and hit Enter.
